Interviews and Rough Digitals

Today I conducted three more interviews and I have been working on rough digitals for my posters in the exhibit.

  1. Megan, I’m loving the overall styles that you have within your project. I think that your typeface and colors are working really successfully within the design. I love your types of bullying graph. My only suggestion would be to make the labels a bit smaller. I think they’re distracting from the data that it is trying to communicate and your graph would work much more effectively if they were smaller. I also think that some of your quotes are really valuable, and you have some very credible sources. Just make sure that if you use the quote, you cite who they are, for instance, Ellen Degeneres, talk show host. Something along those lines will make your sources more credible. I really think your project is looking great and I’m excited to see you’re final project next week!! :)

  2. Your style and design is great. I think the message is clear but I think you need 5 types of charts and graphs? You're probably still working on it, I would imagine. Well done this week!

  3. Hi Megan,

I love the overall feel and design of your posters. Your colors and fonts work really well together. My suggestion would be to add some more images to your posters. Right now it feels like a lot of text. While the information is great and tugs at the heart string, I think some great visuals would help take the impact to the next level. That would allow those who only skim through the information to get the same effect but in a quick visual manner. I would also work on your visual hierarchy. Right now everything feels on the same size level. By adding some hierarchy you can add some depth do your design and draw your viewer in to the most important points. I can't wait to see your final project.
